I’d trade the Chrysler in today for this if I could. F-350 Lariat FX4 Powerstroke...
...manual! So we have a fully loaded full size diesel with a stick! Driving that has gotta be like driving a big rig.

Early 6.no.

Oooohhhhh good catch. I thought this woulda been a 7.3.

That said, with a little money into it, you’ll have a truck that’s miles better than a 7.3. Also, 6.0/ZF6 trucks are quite rare.

The turning radius sucks on these. It felt like turning the Nimitz when I drove a crew cab one time.

I’m sure it being a fully loaded lariat/fx4 makes it rarer.
Honestly though if I was actually getting a diesel, it’d be a Cummins. Duramax sucks and I just can’t bring myself to like a non bronco Ford.

The 6.0 is a good engine so long as you change your oil.

You can get like 22mpg out of that thing. That’s of coarse unloaded and doing under 60.

Not the 6.0 Powerstroke. It needed a lot more than that.

I’d have a GX Lexus (Prado) if I didn’t care. I don’t see why they have to be full time 4x4!?

Idk my father in law has two 6.0s with higher miles. One of them needs new injectors because he changes his oil every 20,000 miles. But it also has 190,000 on it. Other than that, the the starter motor falling off his Excursion a couple times he hasn’t had any problems. He’s had the 03 Excursion from new, and 03 F-350 for 5 years.

My friend’s uncle has a 6 speed 3500 dually, 2005 or something. It’s totally stock, sounds amazing, and he gets 27mpg (in Canada, dunno what that is in US mpg). He drives it comically aggressively too, hauling around backroads. It sold me on the cummins, I want one now.

Wishes he didn’t need good gas mieleage. Drives a Chrysler 300. *side-eye*

better oil cooler and coolant filter and your good. EGR delete is also a good idea but emissions depending on the state your in.
Now if you want to run stupid 15o hp race tunes on it then it will need lots more work. but stock they are still reliable

The early ones liked to kill turbos.
